Dwight Charles Deck

Dwight Charles DeckDwight Charles Deck was born on March 23, 1934 in Gillespie, Illinois to Carl Monroe and Lillian Hill Deck. He was a Little League coach for many years. Dwight was an avid member of the Senior Softball League and was inducted into the Texas Senior Softball Hall of Fame. He enjoyed taking pictures and he loved to travel to the Grand Canyon and spend time at his cabin in New Mexico. Dwight Charles Deck passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, in Houston, at the age of 80 years. He was a devoted husband and father and is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Deck; children, Vicki Lynn Corso and her husband Carlo, Mary Kathryn DiCenso, and Robert Alan 'Bobby' Deck and his wife Janet; and grandchildren, Nicole Corso, Christie Corso, James Deck and his wife Gabriela, and Matthew Deck. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel, in Katy, where funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Darrel Proffitt officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, P.O.
