Eliseo Garcia Obituary
Ramirez, TX
Eliseo "Sonny" Garcia Jr., 80 passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 at his residence after a sudden illness. He attended the REAL in Benavides and enjoyed spending time outdoors and in his garden, and also enjoyed walking. He was a very likeable person who never net a stranger and had a tremendous sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eliseo and Asuncion "Susie" Ramirez Garcia; one sister Flora Garcia Lerma; two brothers, Arnold and Gustavo Garcia.
Sonny is survived by his two brothers, Hector Garcia of Premont, Texas; Eloy (Enedelia) Garcia of Sandia, Texas; two sisters, Mary (Celso) Rodriguez and Laura Mitchell both of Corpus Christi, Texas; brother-in-law, Robert Roland Lerma of La Bandera, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 till 8 pm. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Garza Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Ramirez, Texas. Interment will follow at the Garcia Cemetery in Concepcion, Texas.
