OELRICH Gene Oelrich, 66, Hillsboro, passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, North Dakota. Gene Oelrich was born on March 14, 1944 to James and Marjorie Oelrich in Hillsboro, North Dakota. He grew up and attended school in Hillsboro. Gene enlisted in the US Navy and served until 1967. Retired from Traill County Courthouse where he worked for 27 years, in August of 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in December1996.Gene is survived by his children, Melissa (Paul) Kozojed, Hillsboro, North Dakota, Robert Oelrich, Hillsboro, North Dakota, LeRoy (Sally) Oelrich, Portland, Texas, James (Rosalinda) Oelrich, Sinton, Texas; seven grandchildren (Austin, Tiffany, Lisa, Leroy II, Elizabeth, JamesII, Robert; five great grandchildren; brothers, Roy (Mary) Hillsboro, North Dakota, Richard Oelrich, Eagle Bend, Minnesota, Donald (Ginger) Oelrich, Comstock, Minnesota, Tom (Jan) Oelrich, West Fargo, North Dakota.Prayer Service: 7:00 P.M. That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
