Jack Dale Stringer Jr.Corpus Christi, TXJack Dale Stringer Jr., 62, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away October 23, 2015, from a long illness after suffering a stroke that disabled him. Dale was born May 30, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Mary Carroll High School. He worked off shore and was a truck driver for HEB and Victoria Orthotic and Prosthetic Services. Dale had lived all of his life in Corpus Christi. His favorite things to do were surfing and fishing. He spent many, many days doing both at Padre Island.Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Everene Stringer. Survivors include his sisters and spouses, Connie and Bill Young of Corpus Christi, Lois and Bill Hornbuckle of Bastrop, his nieces/nephews: Erin and Paul Foley, Ashley and Keith Loeb both of Dallas, Will Hornbuckle of Oswego, Illinois, Jack Wesley Hornbuckle of Bastrop, and Richard Warren Hornbuckle of Ft. Worth, also his grand nieces/nephews Emerson, Eleanor, and Jack Foley, Henry and Hadley Loeb. The Funeral service will be at Cage Mills Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2015. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Old Brownsville Road.
