Janet Lindsey Obituary

Janet Sue Lindsey "ReeRun" was called to go home and rest on December 8, 2004. Janet was born on March 17, 1954 to Luther and Nellie Lindsey in Burtonwood, England. "ReeRun" as she was lovingly called, was educated in Corpus Christi, Texas.She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.She is preceded in death by her father, Luther Lindsey Sr., and her daughter, Jamila Oni Lindsey.She leaves precious un-numbered memories in the hearts of her mother, Nellie Lindsey; two sons, Runako Ray Lindsey and Cordera Ray Walton; one daughter, Kanika Shanie Lindsey; one granddaughter, Lanette; two sisters, Cheryl M. Lindsey, and April Lindsey Stewart; two brothers, Malcolm E. Griffin and Luther C. Lindsey Jr., all of Corpus Christi, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2004 with family receiving friend from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 17, 2004 at Corpus Christi Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Stewart, officiating.Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
