Jeffrey Wright Obituary

Jeffrey Lee Wright, 48, of Denver, Colorado, a former resident of Robstown and Corpus Christi, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2004 at his home after a heart attack. He was born July 18, 1956 in Robstown. Throughout his school years he participated in Little League baseball, tennis, track, and football and was a member of the first graduating class in the new Calallen High School building in 1974. He attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas and West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas. He was an excellent marksman skeet shooter and a former member of the Corpus Christi Pistol and Rifle Club. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing and was a gourmet cook. He was a longtime resident of Denver, Colorado where he was a financial consultant and worked for AT&T. He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Earl Wright, Jr.He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Lee Wright, II of Silverdale, Washington, and Coy Allen Wright of Bryan, Texas; his parents, Billy Earl and Peggy Ann Wright of Corpus Christi; a brother, Randall Earl Wright and his wife Karen Kay of Corpus Christi; a nephew, Ryan Kristopher Wright; a niece, Randa Kay Wright.Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 8, 2004 in Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be Brad and Pat Gibson, Rick Wilson, Kyle, Ryan and Wayne Wright.
