It is with profound sadness that the family of Jesusa G. Santos announce her passing on January 1, 2018. She was born in Gonzales Texas on March 7, 1926.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank parents, Francisco and Felicitas Garza and brother, Rene.
Jesusa is survived by her children, Richard (Edna), Frank, and Sylvia (Bob), brother and sister-in-law, Emilio and Eva Garza, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Jesusa was a strong woman of faith. Her love of family was her greatest joy. Jesusa was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. Her kindness and generosity was a blessing to many. Her love of children led her to a career at the Corpus Christi State School, where she loving took care of the children there for over 20 years. Her journey then led her to Calvary Baptist Church where she also cared for children. She also enjoyed working in the yard tending to her plants. Jesusa will be greatly missed.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home, 1222 Morgan Ave, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

My name is Paula Martinez my deepest condolences to Santos family Mrs. Santos will be deeply missed, she was my supervisor and one amazing woman who I had the pleasure of working with at the Corpus Christi State School , she was loving, caring and very understanding to other people's needs May she Rest In Peace and May God give the family the strength to get through this difficult time
