John Hominick Obituary
Corpus Christi, TX
John Hominick Sr. died in his home on December 1, 2018 at the age of 97.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Audrey, his six children, John Jr. (Debbie), Joe (Yolanda), Patricia Gollnick (Larry), Debora O'Dell (Michael), James (Connie), Susan, 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and his siblings Marie and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Willie, Sam, Pete and Rosie.
Thanks to all the caregivers, family and friends, who supported us during this difficult time.
A Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary and Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. that same day. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are his grandsons: JP, Corey, Sean, Bobby, Matthew and John Caleb. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandson, David, sons and sons-in-law.

John Hominich was the nicest man I ever worked with or for starting in back 1970. He always had a smile and a handshake with a few good words for you.
He had a God given ability to start everyday as a new day regardless of what happen the day before.
"It is said that the measure of a man is by the number of people He is missed. John will be missed by many people and I will miss an old Friend. RIP

Dear Hominick family,
Papa John was a wonderful man, it was a joy to be in his presence and he had the best smile and such a joyful laugh. I will always cherish the memories I have of us together but mostly I will cherish the memory of how he loved his family. May the care and love of each other provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. My most sincere condolences.
