He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on January 6, 1987, to Guadalupe and Angelita Alejandro. Manuel enjoyed listening to music and traveling, but was known to many for his love of painting. Manuel's faith was strong, expressed through one of his paintings of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Manuel was the core of his family. He enjoyed his dad's barbecue and loved being surrounded by family and friends. He knew how to bring a smile to people's faces just by his happy character and his presence. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose Alejandro Sr., and Jovita Alejandro, maternal grandfather, Pablo Alaniz Sr., uncle, Manuel Alejandro, and aunt, Evangelina Maria Alejandro.Manuel is survived by his parents, Lupe and Angie Alejandro of Orange Grove, Texas, one sister, Kimberly Bowen (Christopher Sr.) of Orange Grove, Texas, maternal grandmother, Minerva Alaniz of Banquete, Texas, nieces and nephews: Christiana Bowen, Christopher Bowen, and Christabel Bowen; aunts and uncles, Jesus Alejandro (Janie) of Brownfield, Texas, Jose Alejandro Jr. (Olga) of Orange Grove, Texas, Margarito Alejandro (Sue) of Orange Grove, Texas, Ulario Alejandro (Celia) of Banquete, Texas, Isabel Alanis (Carlos) of Orange Grove, Texas, Rose Garcia (Alex) of Banquete, Texas, Nora Sanchez (Rene) of Banquete, Texas, Pablo Alaniz Jr. (Gracie) of Orange Grove, Texas, Nilda Gamboa (Henry) of Beeville, Texas, and Belinda Mendoza (Johnny) of Sugarland, Texas; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2016, from 5:00 untill 9:00 p.m. at Rosas Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m., that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Orange Grove. Burial to follow at Union Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
