Tío Lauro was my mom’s, Santa, older brother. I used to love telling everyone about him going to the Olympics in 1960 in Rome as a boxing trainer for “Lefty” Barrera from Robstown. He was a hard working business man much like my grandfather. Tío you will be missed. Give my mom a big hug and kiss for me when when you see her in Heaven. To my González cousins, prayers for you all. May you have peace and comfort during this time. Eternal rest grant unto Tio Lauro, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.

Love, Lisa Ocañas Pérez, your niece, Charles, Xavier & Amarilisa Mía.
