Linda Davis Obituary

Linda Katherine DavisManvel, TXOur loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend entered into eternal peace, after a short battle with cancer, on Friday, November 27, 2015. Linda is the daughter of Elizabeth Orsak Klock, and the late Lynwood Lee Klock. She leaves behind her husband of 16 years, Dale C. Davis; daughter, Dana (Karl) Buchanan; grandchildren Maxwell and Finley; brothers, Donald and Khris Klock; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She received her BA in Wildlife Management from The University of Wyoming, and worked in the floral industry for almost 40 years. She loved animals, the great outdoors, and above all else, her family. Her pride and joy was her two grandbabies, who adored her just as much. She put up a strong fight against cancer, and we couldn't be more proud of her for it. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Linda's name to MD Anderson Cancer Center. If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, Keep me in your heart, I'll stay there forever... -Winnie The PoohFuneral Services will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1302 Lantana Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78407, (361)289-2759.Burial and reception to follow.
