Lucia Alicia Muttera

Corpus Christi - Lucia Alicia Muttera, 81, went to be with the Lord and her Bobby on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on February 20, 1940 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. She met her husband Bob while on one of his vacations in Mexico. It was love at first sight. She married Robert (Bob) Muttera on February 13, 1971 at Parroquia del Sagrario Metropolitano in Durango, Mexico.

She took immaculate care of her home and with great love cooked and baked lovingly for her Bobby. She often shared her famous cakes and cookies with her friends. Lucia was a devout Catholic and prayed the rosary daily. She spent many hours creating beautiful wreaths and tabletops with Bobby's beautiful wood cigar boxes for St. Patrick Altar and Rosary Society fundraisers.

Lucia will be dearly missed by friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Robert (Bob) Muttera on December 15, 2015 and her parents Rudolfo M. Retana and Mercedes Pescador de Retana.

A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3350 S. Alameda St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
