Lucille Martinez Obituary

Lucille Marilyn Fulton Martinez, 73, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008, in Aransas Pass. Lu was born January 25, 1935, in McGregor, Minnesota, to the late Alvin and Zula Marie Wood Fulton. Lu worked as a teacher's aide for the Aransas Pass Independent School District for many years, and in her second career worked for Portland Savings and Loan Company in Aransas Pass as a cashier before retiring. Family was very important to Lu and it was evident in her home where she displayed hundreds of family pictures. She was also had a love of arts and crafts. Lu's family include her devoted husband of 49 years, Thomas Martinez of Aransas Pass, three sons: Adrian Fulton of Victoria, Thomas O. Martinez of Houston, Richard Martinez and his wife, Norma, of Aransas Pass; a daughter, Terry Jensen, of Port Aransas; step-daughter, Elizabeth Lopez, and husband, Henry, of Aransas Pass; sister, Margaret Pettit, and husband, Marvin, of Wright, Minnesota; brother, Warren Fulton, and wife, Linda, of North Branch, Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 2:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., with the family present to receive friends from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, July 28, 2008 at the Charlie Marshall Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or the Tri County and Aransas County Emergency Medical Services. Charlie Marshall Funeral Home 2003 W.
