Lucy Mejia

Lucy Mejiacorpus chrsiti, TXLucy Mejia, age 82, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jose Diaz and Genoveva Puente. She was a faithful and devoted wife of 54 years to Bruno Nunez Mejia Sr. Lucy had a love of Jesus Christ and a member of Altar of Prayer Church for 40 years. She was a loving mother of six children who raised us in the ways of the Lord. She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her husband, Bruno Nunez Mejia Sr.; daughter, Susan (Victor) Santiago; sons, Bruno Jr., Edward (Kelly), Frank (Sandra), Ray (Liz), Paul (Kathy) Mejia; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank God for the precious time she was with us and know she will always be in our hearts. We look forward to joining her in Heaven. Our Mother's wish was, for all of us to be fruitful and multiply and 'Be blessed'. Lucy's memory will be loved and cherished by all. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Alter Prayer of Church with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
