Mary Gutierrez Garcia passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Genaro and Maria Alvina Gutierrez, sisters, Maria Luisa Luna and Dolores G. Rodriguez.
Mary is survived by her husband, James Garcia, son, Matthew (Marivel) Mejia, daughter, Angelica Mejia, brothers, Genaro (Patsy) Gutierrez Jr., and Roland Gutierrez, four grandchildren; six nephews; and one niece.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, December 9, 2016, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St., at Port; with a Holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.
Rites of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 9:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Condolences may be left at www.trevinofuneralhome.net.
