Nicolas H. "Nick" Cordova Sr.

Nicolas "Nick" H. Cordova, Sr., 62, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2002 in a Corpus Christi hospital following a sudden illness. He was born and raised in Odem and was a retired carpenter. He had also been employed as a plumber and an oilfield roustabout. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Petra Cordova and one brother, Julian Cano. Survivors include his wife, Emma G. Cordova of Odem; one son, Nick (Lisa) Cordova, Jr. of Calallen; two daughters, Gracie (Albert) Perez and Diana Cordova all of Odem; four brothers: Gregoria Cordova, Tomas Cordova, Pedro Cordova, Jr. and Domingo Cordova all of Odem; two sisters, Anita Garcia of Odem and Maria Cantu of Lubbock; seven grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M., Monday, December 9, 2002 at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 10, 2002 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Pete Elizardo as celebrant.
