Patsy Fielding Parsons, 76, of Longview, Texas passed away, June 18, 2018, after an extended stay at Longview Regional Hospital. The family will host a "A Celebration of Patsy's Life" at a date to be determined.

Patsy was born July 1, 1941, in McCaskill, Arkansas to Leslie and Bertha Fielding. Patsy married James "Jim" Parsons on August 10, 1984 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Patsy and Jim retired to the Delaware Springs community in Burnet, Texas in 2001. Patsy and Jim participated in community fundraising events and spent numerous hours volunteering while living in Burnet. Patsy enjoyed dancing and traveling with her husband, entertaining friends and celebrating Christmas. Patsy relocated to Longview, Texas in 2015 after the death of her husband.

Patsy is survived by her sisters, Naomi "Toppie" Darden and Peggy Denman (husband Don); her brothers, Jerry Fielding and Mike Fielding; her daughters, Cheryl Schilling, Sheila Lester Park (husband Dave), and Kathy Parsons; her sons, Regan McNany, Roger Parsons, Dr. James Parsons (wife Stacy), and Jerry Parsons (wife Jennifer); her 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two aunts and several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Parsons, her parents, Leslie and Bertha Fielding, and her grandson, Christian Parsons.

Patsy celebrated life with great joy and enthusiasm and did not take herself too seriously. Her life and actions modeled caring for others, unconditional devotion to those she loved, and gratitude for the life she had. We will miss our Mother, our Sister, our Aunt, but we rest assured in the knowledge that she is with her Heavenly Father, happy and healed, dancing with the love of her life. We know she will keep a close eye on the ones that miss her. We love you, Patsy Ann -- our Mom, our Sis, our Aunt Pat.
