Alice, TX
Patty Lou Grossman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, transitioned to her eternal rest on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the age of 77. She was born in Saratoga, Texas on August 24, 1939 to Alton Killingsworth and Grace Langston Killingsworth.
She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was owner/operator of her own in-home daycare. She loved to travel and loved to read. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Alton and Grace Killingsworth, her sister, Nancy Zuber, and one brother, Jack Killingsworth.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Stanley Grossman; two sons, Scott Grossman (Kaye Hambright) and Duane Grossman (Sharon Featherston); her two daughters, Cheryl Moore and Jodi (James) Deaver; eight grandchildren, Christopher & Mallory Jennings, Kyle Jennings, Megan Moore, Cristin and Mark Hays, Derrick Harmon, Matthew Harmon, Taylor Grossman, and Chase Grossman; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Kathy) Killingsworth, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many cherished friends.
Visitation will be held at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017.
A Celebration of Patty's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Holmgreen Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Matthew Ulmer officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Alice.
Arrangements are entrusted to Holmgreen Mortuary, 2061 East Main Street, Alice, Texas
