Peter Paul Hominick Sr.Corpus Christi, TXPeter Paul Hominick Sr., of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on June 9, 2016, at the age of 92 in Victoria, Texas. He was born in Wharton, Texas, on January 1, 1924, to Willie Hominick Sr. and Mary Wisnieski Hominick.He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ruby Mae Kampfhenkel, son, Peter Paul Hominck Jr. siblings, Willie and Sam Hominick.Our Dad was the most caring and loving person to our mother and children. When we were growing up we never had the best car or the most money on the block but one thing we had that no one else had was the best DAD. Looking back we knew we were the richest kids in the neighborhood. Our Dad gave it his all, was a World War II veteran, then came home and married, having us four children, whom he loved dearly.He owned a Texaco Service Station beginning in 1950 until his retirement in his early 70's, hauled cotton, heavy equipment and numerous other jobs to support his family. Besides that he was an avid deer hunter.Daddy is survived by his children: David Hominick (Judy), Mary Lou Hominick Gaston (Tom), and Lillian Hominick Gollick (Dana), and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, sisters, Rosie Moseley and Marie Suggs, brothers, John (Audrey) and Joseph (Kay) Hominick.So many friends can't name them all.Visitation will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church followed by Interment at Seaside Memorial Park.Pallbearers will be: John Hominick Jr., Joey Hominick, Reid Henry, Mike Gollnick and Philip Gaston. Honorary pallbearers will be: Lawrence Williams, Thomas Gaston, Jr., Michael, Gary and Stephen Hominick.A very special thank you to Maria with TEXAS Home Health for attending to our Dad and giving support to our sister.A very special thank you to our sister Lil and husband Dana for taking care and watching over our Dad.
