Ralph Shepard

Corpus Christi - Ralph Gilbert Shepard was 79 years old when he went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, entering into his eternal rest on June 27, 2021. He was born in Wichita, Kansas, April 4, 1942.

At the age of 18 he married, Linda, his high school sweetheart who remained his dedicated wife for 60 years.

A graduate of Canyon Country College he went on to teach graphic arts at James Monroe High School in California. While living in California He and Linda had three children. Always adventurous he bought a resort in Missouri and moved his family there to pursue his dream. A few years later at the bequest of the family he sold the resort and traveled to Corpus Christ building a very successful career in real estate.

Ralph was a devoted Baptist attending weekly services with his family and raised his children to love the Lord. Above all Ralph loved his family and always wanted them to gather together on all holidays and special occasions.

Ralph was a man's man, confident in all that he did and commanded respect from those who met him. As an avid sportsman he filled his den with trophies of exotic animals in hunts throughout the US and Canada including a bear he shot with a bow and arrow.

He is preceded by his beloved son Sean Shepard and His Brother-In-Law Paul Grundy.

Those that are left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda, his son Bud Shepard and daughter Kim Gutierrez. grandchildren Brittany McGinley (Trevor), Ashley Mallia (Mikey), Kandace Schroeder (Steve), Alyssa Shepard and Taylor Shepard, great-grandchildren Shawn, Aedan, Landen, Kali, Kayden, Tallon, Scarlett, Kasen and Zackery. Linda's sister Yvonne Wilkie (Donnie) and the Grundy, De Leon, and Butler families.

The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Terry Fox of Summit Church at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 6301 Weber Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78413.
