Udo Kurka Obituary

KURKA Udo Daniel Kurka passed away on April 13, 2011 after a long 3 year battle with cancer. He owned and operated Dan's Plumbing Company in Corpus Christi, Texas for over 30 years. He is survived by his sister Nola Harris, four sons Dan Kurka, Jr., Byron Kurka, Curtis Kurka and Aaron Kurka, grandson Robert Kurka, granddaughters Kristen Kurka, Nicole Kurka, Madeline Kurka, great grandson Aiden Destin. He is also survived by his long time partner Julianna Scott, her daughter Robin Silvas, and her children Christopher Silvas and Samuel Silvas. He was a good man with a big heart. He loved to help people and he liked talking to people. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be remembered for all the love and joy he brought into his family's hearts, and he will be deeply missed.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 16, 2011 at St. Petrer's by the sea United Methodist Church, 1541 Waldron Rd.
