The world has lost an amazing man that touched the lives of many. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and dearest of friends. Arnold Frank Pace of Canon City, Colorado, left us on October 13, 2021, at the age of 71. He passed away peacefully at home. To most, he was known as Arne, born on January 10, 1950, to John and Jeanne Pace in Southern California. Arne served our country as a distinguished military veteran, deputy sheriff, truck driver, and Royal Gorge Park Ranger. Arne is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marsha Pace; daughters, Bethany (Bobby) Coleman of California, Leonor (Joaquin) Garcia Sanchez of Colorado; sons, Michael Pace of California, Russell Pace of Colorado; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Per his wishes no services will be held, but rather a Celebration of Life. His celebration will be held at a later specified date. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, please make donations in Arne's honor to one of two non-profit organizations as follows: Tunnel to Tower Foundation ( or call (718) 987-1931, a foundation that helps injured veterans and first responders, fallen responder families, and gold star families, or Saint Jude Children's Hospital ( He will be missed by so many. I am so sorry to hear of Arne´s passing. Arne, my husband Robert and I worked with him at Dole Citrus in Terra Bella. He was a good guy and a good friend. Sending prayers to the family.
