Josephine Mae "Josie" DelDuca

1952 - 2021

Josie went home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2021. She was born on June 18, 1952 to Larkin and Stella Martinez of Florence CO. On October 2, 1976 she married the love of her life Kenneth DelDuca, and they made their home in Florence CO. She worked for several years at Western Forge in Colo Springs, CO. For anyone who knew Josie they knew that her children were the light of her life. Coming from a big family one of her favorite things to do was spend time with her sibling and nieces and nephews, she adored her family. She enjoyed watching the Broncos, weekend fishing trips with her husband and children, and catching up with friends old and new. She always had a bright smile and will be greatly missed by many. She survived by her children Jason DelDuca, daughter Shawna Rash, siblings Angie (Larry) Salkield, Larkin Martinez Jr., Billy Martinez, Kathy (George) Moore, Linda Martinez, Larry Martinez, Michael (Tonya) Martinez, Rita Porterfield, and Gilbert Martinez, numerous nieces and nephews, a large extended family, and several special friends that she made throughout her lifetime. She was proceeded in death by her father and mother, her beloved husband Kenny, younger brothers Frankie and Danny Martinez, and her son in law Jeremiah Rash. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Villa Pueblo nursing home and Sangre De Cristo hospice for the wonderful care that was provided to Josie over the last 15 months. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
