My sincere sympathy to all your family. Lila Taton was quite the woman, my memories of her are from sooo many years ago, as the mother of my friend, Lana, and the expert seamstress making our dance costumes, and putting up with giggly girls at a slumber party. She was so full of energy it seemed. I truly appreciate all she did for us back then.

Dear family of Lila Taton, Lila and my father, Paul Short, were fellow jesters, and one year for Paul's birthday, Lila made an elaborately decorated cake. Paul tried and tried to cut into the cake --only to discover that Lila had elegantly decorated rolls of toilet paper, rather than her usual delicious baked goods! That cake prank will be remembered for much longer than either Lila or Paul could have imagined. Thank you Miss Lila for giving me your special recipe for Chicken Casserole--as a gift when you catered my wedding. A life long gift to anchor fellowship and gathering with friends and family. Your life blessed so many--including our family. May you rest in peace. The family of Paul Short

One of the greatest ladies I have ever met. I always felt like I left her house a better person than when I entered. She will be missed.
