Ahmad Attar Obituary
63, Vinton, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 25, 2016. He was born March 29, 1952 in Damascus, Syria to the late Ali and Thoria Attar.
Ahmad is survived by sons, Emerson Attar, Vinton, Ohio; Jason (Raquel) Attar, Grove City, Ohio; Jacob (Hillary) Attar, Gallipolis, Ohio; daughter, Salome (Zach) Swisher, Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren, Dominick, Andrew, Ariel, Ameerah, Victoria, Ashley, and Aliyah Attar; brothers, Mike (Julie) Attar, North Canton, Ohio and Eissa (Huda) Attar, Canton, Ohio and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Ahmad was a free spirit and always on the go. He enjoyed traveling, farming, camping, hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home, in Vinton. Burial will follow in the Attar Family Cemetery, near Vinton, Ohio. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mccoymoore.com Also, the family in Canton is accepting condolences on Sunday (5-8) p.m. at Eissa's house at 4632 11th St. NW Canton, Ohio 44708.
