Dear Torrence Family
Our parents, Dicky and Betty Martins knew Al in High School at McKinley. My Dad loved Alfred, we went to school with Cedric. We wanted to express our condolence from here in Michigan. Our Dad always said good things about Alfred, which goes to say that a good reputation goes a long way and even crosses generations. Though our Dad Dicky passed away in October 2009, our Mother and we children and grandchildren wanted to send condolences to your family, knowing that we all came from those humble beginnings in Canton,OH, from good stock, and we are blessed to have had the parents we all had. I am sure Alfred taught his kids love and perseverence, hope and faith and to find the joy in everyday. May he rest in peace, and may his children find many reasons to smile and shed that loving tear for Daddy.
Lovingly and Respectfully,

Barb St . Denis
