Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Valentine family.

Our son talks very highly of Val (Andrew), they both served in Charlie Company 1-145th while in Egypt. As parents of a soldier, we feel your pain, but can't imagine your loss.

Let your faith be your strength, and allow God to carry you through these rough times.

Robin,
Sometimes being the wife of a newspaper photographer is not a good thing. When I heard the horrible news of your baby, I was devestated. My first thought was, "this is not the way it is supposed to be". I am so very sorry! I can only wonder how you and your family feels, but you especially. I don't think I can say anything that can make you feel better, only that there are so many people, wheather you remember them or not, that are praying for you to get through this extremely difficult time. You have touched so many lives, as well as your son. I hope you understand this. I also hope you know, I am here if you need someone.

To All of this brave family, we send our deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers. Losing a son is terrible, no matter his age, or cause of his passing, we have shared your pain, and do want you to know you will feel better, but never forget. God Bless you and his friends.
Both of our fathers served in WWII, and although we missed Viet Nam, we had many friends and family members there, our son served during the first Persian Gulf War and our grandson is deploying to Iraq in 2 weeks.
We are also Massillonians, although we are also transplanted Texans, we still keep Massillon close.

To the entire family and friends of Andrew Blake Valentine, go my family's deepest sympathy. Y'all don't know us, but we were all born and raised in the Massillon (Tuslaw) area and that makes us all one family. Our roots are in Massillon. My father served during the Korean War, my brother served in Vietnam, my son-in-law completed two tours of Iraq and presently my grandson is serving his third deployment in Kuwait/Iraq. We are forever grateful and in awe of the dedication our military personnel has to keep us all safe. The heartbreak you are living, we have been spared. Nonetheless, your heartbreak affects us all. Please know, even strangers are sharing your grief. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sending our family's deepest sympathy during this time to you Robin and your family. Even though its been years since we've seen one another, your loss is sincerely heartfelt by my sons, Caleb Forester, Danny Simmons and myself. I recall the day Andrew was born, as it was on Danny's birthday, as well as Darla's...and then years later my youngest Caleb was born the same day. I remember how loved Andrew was, how special your bond with him was. Such a sweet boy and fine young man. The world has truely lost a fine young man; while the heavens celebrate his arrival. God be with you.
All my love,
