Barbara Dieringer Obituary
Barbara J. Dieringer, age 68, of Magnolia, passed away Saturday in her residence. She was born in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of the late Howard and Grace Metzler Richards, and had been a Magnolia resident since 1978. Barb was a 1958 graduate of Boardman High School and a 1962 graduate of Mount Union College with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career at Applecreek Elementary School in the Waynedale School District, and taught at Magnolia Elementary School in the Sandy Valley Local School District from 1978 until her retirement in 2005. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Richards and an aunt, Florence Richards. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-
law, Lisa and John Barlow, of Marysville, OH, and Diana and Gerald Tout, of Columbus, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Elaine Dieringer, of Magnolia; seven grandchildren, Ryan and Zachary Barlow, Jake Rapp, Jamie, Jaclyn, Garrett, and Julia Tout; one brother and sister-in-law, Holland and Billie Richards, of Kirtland, OH; her aunt, Jean Jonas and a cousin, Margaret Ann Jonas, both of Poland, OH. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Rev. Steven M. Smith officiating. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. before the service.

My sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs. Dieringer. She was my second grade teacher and I have alot of fond memories of the second grade 1988-89 school year. Thank you Mrs. Dieringer for being a wonderful teacher and I remember she was the reason I enjoyed math. May god bring peace in a time of heartache to the families and friends.
