Bert Shanower Obituary
Bert C. 'Ed' Shanower
age 89, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully under the care of Community Hospice House at New Philadelphia Friday, Nov. 23, 2012.
The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A service celebrating Ed's life will be led by Reverend Jeffrey Gerber on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the Dover Geib Center. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Dover Burial Park. A reception will follow in the Hospitality Room of the Dover Geib Center. All may view a complete obituary, send the family personal condolences or light a candle in Ed's memory by visiting his permanent memorial located on the funeral home's website.
