If there was anything that Candi would say to us at this sad time...this poem would be it.

To my dearest family & friends, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

Carol,
I am so sorry! I cant believe something like this could happen to a person like candi! You guys had a special mother-daughter bond, she loved you so much! I am so greatful to have had a friendship like ours! I was lucky to have met her and will never have a friend like her again! She was my family and i loved her! I will keep our memories of camping, country dancing, our first jobs at BK, midnight talks, laughter and so much more close to my heart! Throughout the years having our own families have kept us apart bt i've thought of her everyday. When we talked on the phone it was as if no time had ever passed! I wish i coulda been there for the funeral! I'm really sorry i found out to late! Candi was so special and I'll miss her so much! You were so good to me. You treated me like I was your daughter and my mom thought of candi as her daughter. I cant imagine how you feel! I love you and your family and pray everynight for you!!!

I did not know Candice, but I lost my 28 year old daughter minutes after she gave birth May 2008. I know how hard these years will be for all of you. Just love that baby with all your hearts and give her 2 kisses every day, one from you one from Mommy. We are very blessed to have our grandson with us, as he is part of her that will live on.

I was so sorry to hear of Candy's passing. I was so shocked. I am so sorry I didn't hear in time to be there and express our deepest sympathies to you and your family. We just found out today. Our hearts go out to your family. I have only fond memories of Candy and all the years and time she spent with us when she was with Shanna & her family and we all did things together. Bryan, Grant, Grace and Family,

When we remember Candi, it's always with a smile and a laugh. Candi was very kind and encouraging to us during a time when that support was needed. Her intelligence, compassion, strength, humor, beauty and love will be treasured. These cherished traits will live on not only through you, Grant and Grace, but also through the many children and those of us whose lives she has touched. Candi will be missed but will be remembered always. We are deeply saddened by your loss and pray that God strengthens you.

Paul & I were crushed to hear what Candi was going through. We never stopped praying that she would make a full recovery & were devastated to find out she had passed. My heart has been heavy & my stomach weak to think of what you all are going through. What a blessing Grant & Grace are, I know Candi's spirit will shine through them. This is truly heartbreaking. We love you & we are here for you. Sending you massive amounts of peace & love. (I am sorry my original post was cut off) Paul, Dannette, Simon & Miles Fornash

I have known Candice since 2002 when she worked at St Philip and James School. Through the years I got to know a wonderful person who had a fondness for learning and teaching. The greatest gift she offered to this world was her personality and the love of her family. I remember the joy she shared when her first child was born. I am deeply sadden to hear about the lost of a dear friend and colleague. My prayers, sympathy and heart goes out to her family.

I do not even KNOW Candice; nor the family, but I was in shock for the reason of her death. My heart aches; and I must extend to all my DEEPEST of sincere sympathies. This will be one of the toughest roads for all to endure, and if I could, I would take some of your burden. God, please Bless this family in their sorrows; their struggles ahead; and their loving loss.
