Charlotte M. Myers
Charlotte M. Myers, age 94, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in Altercare of Wadsworth after an extended illness. Born in Massillon, OH she had resided in Canton most of her life. Charlotte was a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church where she was active in the women's group for many years. Charlotte worked at St. Luke's Lutheran Home as a seamstress and enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was active in the Canton Civic Opera Auxiliary for many years. Preceded in death by a sister and a brother, Mary Ellen Matthews and Harold Reed, both of Massillon. Survivors include her husband of 70 years, William H. Myers; sons, James E. (Arleen) Myers of Rittman, OH, John C. (Linda) of E. Liverpool, OH; daughter, Mrs. Robert O. (Margaret) Maurer of Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren whose visits she truly enjoyed. Charlotte is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert P. Sander officiating. A private interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery. Those who desire may make memorial contributions to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4120 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44709, Hospice of Wadsworth, 102 Main St., Suite 304, Wadsworth, OH 44281 or to Gideons International, P.O.
