Judy - we just learned about Cliff's passing as we were out of town. I know how difficult this has been for your whole family. If there was something we could do to lessen the pain we would but as you know all the words in the world don't make the pain any less. Just remember all the happy times and go on like Cliff would want all of you to do. We are sending you a big hug and will keep you, David and Maddie in our thoughts and prayers. I know that Cliff is up in heaven right now watching out for all of you.

Judy,

We all feel so deeply saddened by the passing of Cliff. He was a pleasure to work with all these years. He loved to talk about his family. He loved acting. I asked him once which play he enjoyed acting in the most. His response was that he enjoyed the plays he acted in with you the most. He loved being on stage with you. You could feel the love he had for you every time he mentioned your name.

We shall keep you and your family in our hearts and in prayers.

Cliff will always hold a special place in my heart because he helped me through a difficult time while I was a student of his at the TaeKwonDo school. He told the most wonderful stories that would have me laughing each time I thought of them. My favorite saying of Cliff's was "I have never regretted going to class. I have, however, regretted not going." I truly miss him.

I don't know what words to chose to express my sorrow or my condolences. Judy, Maddie and David, your Cliff was a wonderful, talented, giving, generous person and I am so glad I got to know him, even just a little. You were blessed to have him in your lives, and you will always be better for having been touched by him. My love, my prayers for strength, my heartfelt sorrow - all these go with you. Be glad in knowing Cliff touched so many lives and he will never be forgotten.

Hi Judy, David, & Maddy:

My thoughts and prayers are with you this weekend. I grieve with you. I am sad that he is gone.

I have so many fond memories of Cliff at UNL (Skelly comes to mind, as well as a party or two..), and happy memories of us Nebraskans in New York at the 18th Street Playhouse and at the Century Cafe.

Judy, I'll never forget the gathering at your apartment shortly after David arrived---Cliff was as proud as any father could ever be. I can still see Cliff's grin so clearly!

I will remember him always with that grin.
