Dan Stebler Obituary
Age 62, of Jackson Township
passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, March 13, 2009. Born in Canton, OH to the late Jack and LaVerne Stebler. Dan retired from Ecko Products. He served his country during the Vietnam Era in the U.S. Army. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Kay (O'Brien) Stebler; three sisters, Jackie (Roy) Rodgers, Elayne (Tom) Burke, Roberta Resanovich; mother-in-law, Hallie O'Brien; three sisters-in-law, Lois (Larry) Vanieek, Donna (Vic) Marks, Darlene O'Brien; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Dr. Schmotzer, the staff at Morningstar and the Aultman Hospice Team for their compassionate care. Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. in the Schneeberger Funeral Home where friends may call from 12-1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.

Kay i am so sorry for your loss of Dan i know you both were so close an what a great friend to my son Clay he will be missed i remember when he was a young man comming to my house with Clay i always was happy to see him he was joy to be around we will miss him.

I remember first meeting Uncle Dan, was so scared of him.. thinking he was so old.. I use to call him pacemaker growing up.. not realizing that someday I would be that age..doesn't seem so old now..He was someone to count on whenever you needed help or just to be a friend..An amazing man..one of honor, strength and love..for all who knew him..Heaven has received an angel, one that we are all proud of and will miss deeply...Uncle Dan, please know that we will take wonderful care of Aunt Kay for you..
