Heaven received another beautiful angel for the choir in Heaven when Debi Boli, who was best known for having a spirit and heart as big and beautiful as her voice and laugh. She went home to be with the Lord after an extended illness on Friday, July 24, 2015 where she is now singing her heart out.
Debi began her journey in Canton, Ohio April 10, 1956. She graduated from Jackson Senior High School. Debi was a long-time resident and member of Willowdale Lake Country Club; she treasured her trips to Siesta Keys, Florida with her dear friends. For many years, Debi used her phenomenal spirit and voice to entertain so many with her friends and band members of, “The Whalers.”
Debi served the Canton Regency for 20 years as the recreation director; where she became friends and “family” to many seniors. Then later retired from Crossroads Hospice as their receptionist; where she referred to her co-worker as “her Angels”; most would argue that she was the “Angel” and the voice and smile that they looked for every day. Debi was an inspiration to so many. She once posted “This is unconditional love. This kind of love is why we are here.”
Preceded in death by beloved parents Per lee Pontius Boli and Miriam Jane Boli. She is survived by sister Heather Boli, N Canton; nephew Justin (Heather) Boli and pride and joy, great-nephew Thane Boli, Canton Ohio, many cousins and dear friends. She dearly loved her “fur baby” companions, Willow, Bruiser (deceased) and Prudence.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made at her Celebration of Life on Thursday, August 6th from 6pm – 9pm in the Willowdale Lake Country Club, 601 Willowdale Lake Ave. North Canton. Donations can be made to assist in her final expenses and to care for her family during this most difficult time.

We are so very sorry to hear of Debi's passing. I just found out about it a few minutes ago when trying to find her phone number. She was my very best and dearest friend in high school and twenties. I had no idea Debi had passed away until I was scrolling around on Facebook remembering old classmates from JHS (74). My experience with her was that she was always kind and sweet to me in school. I always remembered that. God speed Debi. I hope to see you again on the other side.

Deb has a special place with me since my day 1 with crossroads when I applied. She walked me right to HR and said "we are going to keep her, I mean it" I looked forward to seeing her each and every time I entered that front door. Even on a bad day she was smiling....a true inspiration to me personally. I will always have you in my heart and my prayers go to all of your many friends and family as we struggle to deal with a beautiful angel from earth that will now bless heaven with giggles and smiles

A beautiful soul! The "Best receptionist " EVER! I will miss her smiling face and infectious laugh! I am happy she is no longer suffering but the World has lost and Angel and god has gained one! RIP Deb!

Deb, we go way back to Jackson High and Church of the Lakes. I know you are cutting it up in Heaven. Last time we saw each other you were singing with the Wailers at Willowdale. Heather and Justin and friends, it is with a heavy heart that I grieve the loss of our beloved Debi. She was a great childhood friend and we had lots of love between us. She will be so greatly missed in many aspects of our lives. I pray for peace and love to overflow to you from the love she had for all of us and the love we had for her. God Bless you all.
