Donna Isner Obituary

Donna Kay Isner
Donna Kay Isner, age 72, of Massillon died Saturday at Massillon Community Hospital following a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 24, 1934 in Canton to the late Albert and Naomi(Miller) Johns and moved to Massillon at an early age. Donna was a 1952 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. She was employed as a barmaid at several local taverns and met many friends in her journey through life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice B. Isner in 1986; two nephews, two brothers-in-law; and several aunts and uncles. Donna is survived by three daughters, Maurine K. (Joseph) Yohn of Massillon, Gayle M. Matie of Marathon, FL, Terri R. (Robby) Armstrong of Spanaway, WA; two sons, Steven R. (Sally) Isner and Larry R. Isner, all of Massillon; eleven grandchildren; two step grandchildren; two great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rose Isner of Massillon; four nieces and two nephews; and special friends, Rick and Lisa Macwithey. The family would like to thank the staff of Massillon Community Hospital and Hospice Development Foundation of Akron for their care of our mother through her illness. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Atkinson-Feucht- Shaidnagle Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
