Donna Kafer Obituary
Donna M. Kafer
84, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 18, 2015. She was born on July 6, 1930 the daughter of George & Mary Worstell in Marietta, Ohio. She moved to Canton at the age of 12 and later attended McKinley High School. Donna was married at 16 to Willard A. Kafer. later in life she had an in-home child care service and also was a foster home provider. Her love and care for children never stopped even after being retired. Donna was a devoted Christian who never ceased to pray and read her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter; infant twin girls; brothers Charles Worstell and Harold Worstell; and sisters Virginia Morgan and Effie Jones. Donna is survived by her loving family, her children Linda Eagleton daughter and caretaker of 8 years, Ricky A. (Jo Ann) Kafer, Donnetta (Jim) Dazey, Jeanna Lynn (Jackie) Perine, Tabitha (Matthew) Lundquist; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends may call Monday from 6 to 8p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 11a.m. at the Reed Funeral Home (Canton Chapel) where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor M.D. Gammill officiating. I am so sad, a place in my heart is now gone with your Mom. It took me days to be able to come up with the words to completely describe my feelings and even now as I write I shake. You all were such a part of my childhood and growing up that there are so many fond memories I have of all of you. As you have pain and grief, I want you to know I pray that you are comforted knowing that your Mom had such a wonderful positive impact on the lives of so many. I love you all so very much and I think of you often.
