Douglas Gabel Obituary
53, passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2021. He was born on May 31, 1968 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of Alma (Freeman) Farnsworth of Massillon and the late James Gabel of Massillon.
Surviving are his loving wife, Kelly Gabel and son, Brody
Gabel of the home; son Jason Gabel of TN, daughter Jessica Gabel of SC, and son Matthew Gabel of SC; brother James "Jim" Gabel and wife Joyce of Canton; brother Mike Gabel of Massillon; sister-in-law Angie Carter of NC; granddaughter Ava Gabel of TN, numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
DJ was a veteran of the US Navy and an avid football fan. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. He also had a passion for hunting, fishing, and golfing and loved to go to the beach and tell great stories. Most of all, DJ had the ability to make anyone in his presence laugh with one of his jokes or memes.
