Dwight Brown Obituary
Brown Sr.
Dwight "Wood" Brown, Sr., age 61, of Malvern, OH, passed away November 17, 2007 in Cleveland, OH, after a short illness. He was born April 12, 1946 in Malvern, OH, to the late, John and Florence (Parker) Brown. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Malvern, OH. Dwight graduated from Malvern High School in 1965, and served in the United States Army from 1966 until 1968. He was employed by the Timken Company and Portex Industries. Dwight was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas Mason and Annie Parker; paternal grandparents, John and Josie Wiley; son, Dwight "Pee-Wee" Brown, Jr.; and brother, Herman A. Brown, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sandra Brown of 42 years; sons, Bryant Brown L., Todd (Jessica) Brown, John Brown of Canton, OH; sisters, Emma Brown-Griffin of Cleveland, OH, Dorothy Brown of Malvern, OH, Faye Stokes-Harden of Canton, OH; brother, Willie L. Brown, of Malvern; grandchildren, Bryant II, Todd, Jr., Taylor, Morgan, Payton, Ciara, Curtley, Christy Brown, Elondo Brown; uncles and aunts of Akron, OH, Ruthie Mae (Mike) Kaiser and Shophie Wilson, Thomas Parker of Malvern; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special friends, Roland Johnson, Virginia Frazier, Toni Brown, Jamesetha Lethers and Paul King. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Malvern, OH. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday , November 24, 2007 at First Baptist Church. Condolences may be sent to: 6740 Bridgestone Circle NE, Canton, OH 44721. Internment in Bethlehem Cemetery.
