My first job at 16 was to be a laborer on Gene's crew at the Canton Water Works in 1970. He inspired me to work hard and take pride in my work. He also inspired me with his friendliness and compassion for people. Gene had an impact on my life.

Gene was truly one of the nicest men I knew.....He was always smiling, always willing to help, loved his family deeply and loved being with them....Rest in Peace in Heaven, Pic.
