Felix Basug Obituary
age 103, of Uniontown, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Jan. 17, 2017. He was born in the Philippines on Nov. 19, 1913 to Agustin and Ana Basug.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Carmen (Dannug); daughter, Carmencita (Mark) Slabinski; three granddaughters, Victoria, Elizabeth and Christina Slabinski, all of Uniontown; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received Friday, Jan. 20th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.) Funeral mass will be Saturday, Jan. 21st, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2952 Edison Street NW, Uniontown, Ohio 44685 with Reverend John Zapp presiding. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens in North Canton. The family suggests memorial donations to the Basug Medical Career Scholarship.
