Gerald Gravila Obituary
Gerald G. Gravila, age 68, passed suddenly at home, Tuesday, September 30, 2008. He was born on Friday, May 3, 1940, in Canton. A graduate of Lehman High School class of '58. Served in the Marines. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Melissa Gravila of Florida; daughter, Denise Gravila of Florida; daughter and son in law, Debrah and Dave Thomas of Massillon, 4 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, aunt, Anne Gergel, his Walmart Family. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Amelia (Gergel) Gravila, companion, Kathy Ravenscroft. He was employed by Walmart #5285 as a Sales associate. A special thanks and prayers to the Walmart Family. Memorial Services will be held at Heitger Funeral Service-Massillon Chapel on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Natura Wright. Visitation will be at Heitger Funeral Service - Massillon Chapel on Monday, October 6, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, 525 North Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406. Jerry, I will truly miss you, having grown up together, gone to school together and served in the Marine Corps together. We were almost brothers. I will see you again someday.

I would see Mr.Gerald every morning at Wal-Mart. We used to talk about our grandchildren and his great grandchildren. It was always nice to see him and talk to him. I will miss him very much. My prayers go out to his family. May God watch over you all and comfort you durring your time of grief.
