McGhee, James A. "2X"
Was born October 8, 1954, to John and Jannie McGhee in Canton, Ohio.
He died Sunday, June 28, 2009,
after an extended illness. He was an Artist, and he loved people. He always had a joke and a smile. He was a kind hearted person and has touched the lives of those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed. James "2X" McGhee was preceded in death by his father, John H. McGhee; his sister, Kathaleen "TEE DEE" Hall; his niece, Chrishawna Cobbs; and his great nephew, Michael Banks (Snell). He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Jannie Mae McGhee; three brothers, Willie "Indris" (Sheila) McGhee, Royal McGhee both of Canton and John A McGhee of North Canton; two sisters, Lula Mae Jackson and Dorothy J. McGhee both of Canton; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2009, 12 noon
at Rhoden Memorial Home, 729 Cherry Ave. NE, visitation will
begin at 11 a.m.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I remember him best from back in the SCIA days-soldiers for civil rights. James was smart as well a great leader. 2X will be missed by all who came in contact with him. RIP
