Age 43, of Canton
passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer with his immediate family by his side. Jeff will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. Born September 17, 1965 in Canton to his parents, Kathryn Brick, of Midvale, Ohio, and the late Kenneth Brick. Jeff was a 1983 graduate of GlenOak High School, then served in the U.S. Navy from 1984 - 1988. He was employed by Leo Dick & Sons of Canton as a delivery driver. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Horton) Brick; two brothers, Bob (Sue) Brick of Homeland, Georgia, Dan (Carla) Brick of Newcomerstown; one sister, Dianne (Chris) Bihl of Cincinnati, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many many friends. Funeral services will be held Noon, Monday July 13, 2009 in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Rosen officiating. Friends may call 10 a.m. until time of service on Monday in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the family to assist with ongoing expenses.

Sylvia, My name is Dawn Booher Jones. Jeff was my neighbor growing up and he was one of my best friends. He was a wonderful person and I will miss him deeply. May God be with you.
Mrs. Brick, Bob, Danny & Diane, Jeff was such a great guy and he meant so much to me growing up--we all were pretty much a family. I will never forget him. God Bless all of you.
