Joseph Dexter Obituary
Age 21, passed away Dec. 16, 2020, one day after his big brother, David Dexter. Joey had a love of animals, of art and baking. He had a wonderfully creative side, too, often putting together beautiful arrangements and bows to brighten the day for his mom and friends. He loved bringing joy to others.
In addition to his brother, Joey is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Knouff; and grandmother, Regina Dexter. He is survived by his mother, Roberta Dexter; father, James Dexter; grandmother, Rita Knouff; grandfather, John Dexter, along with many cousins and loving friends – all of which will remember Joey as a kind and caring soul with a smile that warmed your heart.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions, there will not be any services at this time. The family will hold a Celebration of Life once all can gather safely. Contributions in memory of Joey may be made by going to www.paquelet.com, clicking on David's obituary and choosing the Tribute Fund tab. I’m so sorry to hear of Joey’s passing. My colleague and I were advisors for a club that Joey participated in, in high school. He was such a genuine and kind hearted young man, who brought smiles to those around him. My prayers are with you as you as you grieve his loss and remember him in the days to come.

We both went to school with Joey since we were young and only have the fondest memories of him. He was a kind soul and always lit up every room he was in with his smile. Few people have been in our lives that were as positive and joyful as Joey and he will be missed. Our deepest condolences to his family.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Joey was such a sweet kid in high school. sometimes after school I would give joey a ride home so he didn’t have to take the bus. His memory will forever be known as being such a sweetheart & kind person.
