Kathy Wise Obituary
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Greenwood Christian Church, 4425 Frazer Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44709 with Tony Amerine officiating. Burial will follow in the East Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Reed Funeral Home to help with expenses or to the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to share a fond memory or their condolences may sign the Reed on-line guestbook at our website

I am sorry to hear your daughter has passed.

Kathy Jo Wise is a wonderful person in life, in my childhood memory, and now in heaven. Heavy hearts because we love her so much. So shocked and so sad. I loved Kathy, and Jeff (brother deceased) was my best friend in High School. I can tell some hilarious stories about times with kathy. I loved her crazy laugh and silly sense of humor. My sincere sympathy to Bill and Helen Wise and all her friends.

Our family was able to meet Kathy through our dear Aunt Becky (Fort) and little Ellie. We had a Fancy Nancy birthday party a few years ago for our daughter, Aunt Becky, and myself. My Aunt Becky of course brought Ellie, but she also brought her 2 delightful friends Kathy and Helen as well (whom we had heard so much about). Everyone was dressed up in fancy clothes. Kathy was wearing a shirt that said, "Fancy Kathy" which we all thought was so cute and asked, "Where did you get that shirt?! It's perfect!" Little did we know that us birthday girls would soon unwrap our very own Fancy "Becky" "Laurie" and "Jadyn" shirts!
Kathy has kept in touch with me over these past few years about various activities that I could sign my kids up for like reading clubs and other activities (I home school our kids, so extra activities are always extra fun!)
Your Kathy will really, really be missed. I'm so grateful that we were able to meet her, laugh with her, and just be blessed by her amazing giving heart, thoughtfulness, and love. Our family is praying for all of you and for God's beautiful peace upon you all during this unexpected time.
