To Kim's family-I am sorry that Kim was not here on earth as long as you would have liked. I attend Green school with Kim. We were not best of friends, but I can still see her cute smiling face. Kim did attend one of our class reunions. It was at that time that I was able to have a long conversation with her. I knew she was not feeling well and had some pain. But you would have not known that by her words, laughter, and positive attitude. I am a widow myself and grief is not easy. But to know that God sent His son to die for us so that we can have an eternal life is a truth to hold on to. Just to know that you can see Kim again someday-God bless,Priscilla Alborn Smith Carter

Dear Gene & Gene & all who loved my dear beautiful sweet niece, Kim, she's at peace & free of pain!! I'm so thankful for that--she was a feisty person who was like a warrior, fighting for her life--so brave for so long & now is at total peace. I loved her sense of humor, her compassion for others, & her kind heart. I will miss her so very much & will forever be thankful that I was part of her life. May Kim's legacy be that we will be kind & tolerant to others, just as she was. I know she would love that!

Gene & Gene, thank you for all that you did to make Kim's life a bit easier--you were there for her & she loved you for that! All my love,
Aunt Sherry Gallagher Warden

It's been 40 years since I've seen Kim... I graduated in '74 while she was a junior and I therefore lost connection with her; dear family of Kim's... as you know, she's just one lovely person! We never dated, but just shared a friendship in school with talking and laughing and mutual respect... Our Hope to rest upon: “For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.” 2 Corinthians 5:1

Sorry for your loss. Kim was a great friend, we hung out together a lot, during our school years. She had the best family ever. I lost contact though the years but never forgotten her beautiful smile, and how she was as a friend. I just ask Tim about her a month ago was going to come visit her. She will be missed .... God is with her.

Kim was truly a gift to us all, for which I will be eternally grateful. I will miss her everyday for the rest of my life. To know her was to love her, and she loved everyone right back. I will always treasure the deep friendship we shared for the last 30 years. We called each other sister, and we were in every sense. I know she is soaring with the angels and catching up with mom! My deepest sympathy to Gene and Gene and all who love her....

Mama
After all the times you proved the doctors wrong, its hard to believe you're really gone. I was blessed to know you for so long and happy to be called your daughter. Your loving heart will be forever engraned in my mind. I loved being able to have our one on one time on treatment days. You are one of the strongest people I have ever known. You will be missed tremendously. You have made an ever lasting impact on Kamree's life. She will never forget her Gramma Kim. She loved spending afternoons with you on the couch in front of the fire watching LMN with her Gramma. Those memories will be with her forever. Your job as a guardian angel is going to be busy. We love you and miss u. You are forever in our hearts. Love u Mamma!!
Love,
Daughter

I knew Kim from the 3rd grade and I have always appreciated every precious moment with her.
When we were in the 4th grade, our teacher rearranged the class seating and I was so happy that I got to sit next to Kim. I was very cautious to not talk to Kim too much for fear that the teacher might move me away from her.
I hope I get to sit with Kim again some day and not have to be concerned about talking with her too much.
Thank you Gene for being such a great husband for Kim; she always spoke very highly of you.
