Dear Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray you will find comfort in your beautiful memories. I was not able to ever spend any quality time with any of you but I do remember visiting at your home when I brought mother to see your Mom and Dad. That was the only time I remember seeing your Mom. I sure did enjoy the times with your Dad at Mabels anniversary party and at the homecomings. I hope he knew I loved him. I love each one of you and wish I could be with you. Your Dad is resting now. Please stay close together and let God give your heart comfort. Sharleen and family

I remember when I was young, Uncle Lacy would stop by to visit his brother and would always fine me being mischevious or in trouble from my stupidity. I remember him offering to take me to his house just to spend some time with him and his family and I always felt special. This past Christmas, we stopped in to see him at the Nursing Home where he was recovering. I wanted to let him know how much he meant to me and that although I lived a great deal away, he was still very special to me. We walked away in tears because he twisted it around and once again made me feel special, the visit was not about him but about me. That was the true meaning of Christmas, spent with a special man, our Uncle. Although I moved to Atlanta, he kept up with me and my accomplishments, he taught us that distance is not a limiting factor in a relationship, its only a measure of space but LOVE is pure, strong and forever. We will miss you but you will never be forgotten, your a part of our HEART and we Thank GOD for the strength, memories and LOVE you gave to us!
