Larry Binder Obituary

Larry H. "Skip" Binder, Sr.
74 of Massillon, died on Friday, August 7, 2009 at Affinity Medical
Center in Massillon. He was born on May 17, 1935 in Emmaus, PA and was the son of the late Paul and Edith Binder.
Skip was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the U.S. Navy. While in the service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
He retired from Steamfitters Local 420 in Pennsylvania where he was a pipefitter.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. #792 in Emmaus, PA and the Massillon Post of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife, Frances L. (Miller) Binder, whom he married on November 15, 1986 and his brother in law and sister in law, Robert and Joanne Miller of Massillon. Funeral services with military honors will be conducted on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Road N.E., Massillon, OH with Chaplain Lt. Col. Leslie Peine (Ret. U.S.A.F.) officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral Home on Sunday from 1-3 P.M.
