Loraine Russell Obituary
Loraine A. Russell
Age 79, of Perry Twp., passed away Sunday afternoon in Rose Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in West Newton, Pa., a daughter of the late Lester and Bertha Johnson Neth; and was a resident of the Canton area all her life. Loraine was a 1950 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Robert W. Russell, on April 8, 2004; and a son, Kevin Russell, on May 28, 1979. Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Dale Midcap, of Canton; three sons, Charles Russell, of Pinehurst, N.C., Gary and David Russell, both of Canton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothea 'Cookie' and Phil Jones, of Canton, and Carol Ann and Gopal Rao of Pittsburgh, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Jenna, Robbi, Marissa, Todd, Beth, Bryan, Mindi, and Rebekah; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas K. Fryman, Jr. officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call one hour before the services on Thursday.

To Loraine and Bob's family:Your mother and father meant very much to me as a young christian. I enjoyed the company of their pleasant personalities and leadership in church. Always faithful to church and to encourage their church family and pastor. In my heart I believe many folk have received the warmth of two individuals that cannot be replaced and will live on in the hearts of those they touched. Just last weekend I told the stories of your parents to a fiend and shared how my life had received a blessing from the freindship they shared wth me and the light they both brought with them where they were present. Though I now live in Florida, I have read of your loss and desire to communicate to you my thoughts of your parents in my inability to do so personally. Jim Heflin
