LOUIS MAUTER Obituary

Louis James (Jim) Mauter

age 75, of Gilbert, AZ, died Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at his home after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born March 9, 1945 in Canton, OH to the late Oliver and Margaret (Bucci) Mauter. He moved with his family to Arizona in 1979. He served in the Navy for eight years and the National Guard for two years. He retired from Honeywell where he was a machinist.

He was a loving husband to Jacquelene for almost 56 years; father to James (Sonya) Mauter and Michele (Daniel) Minetto. He is survived by five grandsons: Chase, Joshua, Spencer, Gavin, Jonathon (Minetto); one granddaughter, Danielle (Minetto); and one great-grandson, Crew Mauter. He is also survived by his brother, Bobby (Debbie) Mauter of Canton, OH; and two sisters, Sandy Roberts and Marie Mauter of Canton, OH. He was proceeded in death by brothers, Michael Mauter and Ralph Mauter. His sister,

Judith Wackerly died on January 9, 2021. In addition to being a loving family man he loved the outdoors, golfing and tinkering in his garage. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Calling hours will be private. Mass will be at St. Anne's Catholic Church on January 19th., at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
